I absolutely agree that itching can be a sign of liver problems.
At one time, when I ate an offending food, I would get totally exhausted and end up in bed for a day or two. Then I started supporting my liver and building up my immune system (Milk Thistle, whey protein, supplements, yada, yada). My health improved a lot but
food intolerances still botehred me - but now made me very itchy instead. At first I took antihistamines but realized it was a bad long-term solution.
So I started cleaning out my colon (the itchiness is caused by toxins) by doing a
coffee enema when the itching got intolerable. In every case, the enema cured the itching within a short time of doing the enema.
I then started doing liver flushes. In fact, I can tell when it's time to do another flush because if I stray from the "good food" path, the itchiness starts building up again.
I know some of the above sounds extreme but believe me, I did a lot of reading - and then some - and it took me about a year after the itching began to start cleansing but the results are amazing.
It's worth considering.
To your much improved health!!
