I am a "former anxiety sufferer" and I KNOW that is the truth about water. My first anxiety attack happened when I was dehydrated. I was taking a well known appetite suppressant and what was one of the side effects? Dehydration. Even though I stopped taking the supplement, my panic attacks continued. I would even have them when I would take my medicine my docs gave me for it(xanax). I tried every thing. I had them for six years, the first few years, EVERY DAY. This last year I started on a whole food plan and drinking almost a gallon of water a day and something happened. I stopped having panic attacks!!! I wasn't even going for that, it was just a pleasnt benefit of drinking water. I was already eating well, so I was sure. Now when I read about the
Water Cure , I realize that is what helped cure my anxiety. People use substances every day (drugs, coffee, ect.) that dehydrate and then don't drink any water. You've got to drink water! I also took b complex and it helped take the edge off, but they were still there. They did'nt completely stop until I started drinking a lot of water. I just keep a 12 ounce glass full and try to drink one every hour.
