I used pure senna leaves and that works like a dream so maybe you should switch brands or seep it longer like suggested. I do my
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) the same way Tiffany suggested, it's way easier to gulp down 4
oz really quickly than 32
oz of it.
For cooking for your family, just go by what feels right, I usually can just eyeball how much seasoning needs to go in. If not, go by scent. Also, you can just ask one of your kids or the husband to taste the sauce to see if it needs anything.
But yeah, I think if you tasted the sauce, that would be cheating and interfere with the total benefits you could get.
