Congratulations on making it to day ten! That's a really big accomplishment! If this helps you out at all... I did not drink the tea last night. I had a bowel movement late last night (during the rest of the cleanse I only went in the mornings) so that helped me to make my decision (um, maybe that was too much information!) Truly I don't think it makes a huge difference and I don't think it'll wreck your cleanse either way. But I suppose drinking it would be one last opportunity for an extra toxin purge. Maybe someone else has good input?
Today I'm on the oj kick. Like I had read about on this board, today is actually harder than the fast, I feel not hungry exactly, but sort of like the oj is not satisfying me. BUT, I am feeling good and satisfied by my accomplishment, and just like the rest of the fast, it's mind over matter.
I really want to wake my body up the right way, and despite being tempted to run over to the thai place and pick up some salad rolls with peanut sauce (for some reason this is what I have my heart set on for my first meal out), I'm gearing up to make some yummy BROTH tomorrow. Who knew vegetable broth could stir up such excitement? Anything besides citrus sounds awesome.
I just picked up a raw foods cookbook called "The Raw Truth" by Jeremy Safron, and I'm going to treat myself to eating mostly raw for several days after the broth. Going totally raw isn't something I am ready for, but it'll be super fun to start preparing colorful, sensual things to eat.
Good luck with whatever choice you make about the tea! I would love to hear about your experiences coming off the fast, too!
