I've been doing CEs regularly for 15+ years. Sometimes once a week but quite often almost daily. I realize I use them for the energy and I can often be lethargic without them. I wonder if the constant massive caffeine has caused adrenal burnout?
Despite early claims, studies has shown CEs lead to similar caffeine blood levels as drinking.
John Rose says something about replacing electrolytes by drinking greens juice if you do too many. Not exactly sure since I just watched 2 of his videos on this just today, it could be in this one below or the next reply below. He's got a whole other bunch of videos and info to watch in his description section so you may want to look at that too. Apparently he did 3 per day for 100 days just to learn more about them, and he's very analytical (no pun intended).
Thanks, that makes good sense. I used to juice or smoothie daily but since starting keto I haven't. Now that I think of it some people add molasses for the minerals. I also found GABA helps with the caffeine stress response.
