Hi folks-
In the past, I have cringed at the thought of starting a Master Cleanse. Knowing
full well, that the first couple of days are usually the most difficult. In my
experience, what I have learned is that Day 1 is pretty crappy, because I just want
to eat- (out of habit), the caffeine withdrawal headaches begin, and there is a big
ol lack of energy.
Day 2- headaches continue, no energy, and the day is just miserable.
Day 3- maybe some leg aches- not really craving food anymore, but not really happy
to not be eating either-did i mention, no energy?
Day 4- aches and pains start to subside, and can't just yet say I'm feeling too good-
Anyway- a lot of us know what happens after Day 5 or there about- I won't spoil the
surprise for those of you who don't. :-)
MY POINT-(been known to ramble on... my apologies)
I started the
Master-Cleanse 4 days ago-
I have felt nothing short of feeling absolutely FINE...
No withdrawal headaches- maybe a touch of achiness in my legs, but other than that-
I FEEL FANTASTIC-
Plenty of energy-
Waking up really early, with a little help from the smooth move tea- (which ...is it
me, or is the move anything but SMOOTH?) talk about cramping... ouch.
I follow that with the SWF-
Although today, I started taking the P&B shakes- (had 3 throughout the day).
I'm drinking about 2 - 2 1/2 liters of lemonade- and maybe a liter or 1.5 liters of
water.
I should mention that I am a 36 yr old female, and am very fit- 133lbs / 5'8".
I cleanse because I live and play hard.
I feel I owe it to my body to clean out all of the garbage I have put into it over
the years- and that can range from cigarettes, to alcohol, to pizza, french fries,
and God knows what else.
Hey, nobody's perfect... Where's the fun in trying to be THAT anyway?
So my question is- Do you think that the reason this cleanse has been pretty painless
for me, is because the last one I did was in March (for 10 days) and before that I think
it was about 6 months before that...
Perhaps the act of cleaning out more and more toxins over the years- is making us...
well, dare I say it? Less toxic?
I mean, i just quit smoking and coffee 4 days ago, and I feel great-
I'm even in a good mood- with plenty of energy...
Really weird- as I had already warned friends and family to stay away and not even
call me during the first few days...
Now, I'm calling them to make plans to go out.
experienced MCer's- what do you think?
non-experienced MCer's- don't be jealous- I went through a lot of pain to get here.
;-)
Curious to see if anyone has found it to be easy after doing it a couple of times?
thanks and happy cleansing to all!
