Hi everyone, i have exfoliative cheilitis since 2 years, im pretty sure it is because i have candida/dysbiosis, because sometimes i fart a lot, because i have dermatisis seboreic (controled with shampo), because i had Acne
with a lot of white spots around my nose (i still have but its less noticeable). But my biggest problem is exfoliative cheilitis, if i put aquaphor everynight before sleeping its okay through the day but i have the white line when i take my shower at night (i wash my teeth with baking soda). But if i dont put anything on my lips for like 2 Days, they start peeling and at the level of the white line my lips get dug and become so dry. I know the answer is in à diet with meat and vegetables, but no grain and no fruit, no sugar, because candida feed on sugar, plus some probiotic, vitamins and oil of oregano (anti candida). This diet will normaly last 6 months maximum before my exfoliative cheilitis disapeared (or get a lot less noticeable), BUT, the two BIG questions are the following : do I eat fermented food ? (Its say that they provide good bacteria)
Because I read in https://bodyecology.com/articles/can-fermented-foods-help-to-eliminate-candida
"Contrary to what Dr. Amy Meyers suggests about fermented foods, both Science
and tradition tell us that cultured vegetables, pickles made with probiotic-rich brine, and dairy fermented with a starter can repair leaky gut and combat yeast overgrowth"
And the other main question:
Do i still apply aquaphor or does it compromises the capacity of lips to regenerate by themselves ?
because if i dont do anything my lips become really ugly and i am at school and it will become really hard with the look of others, and my lips will hurt :(
But i don't want to compromise my cure. A possible solution would be to continue to put aquaphor but less and less? I will reduce slowly the quantity which I puts on my lips, until i do not put it anymore ?
Thanks in advance for your answers :) i know its hard and sometimes we feel hopeless about our condition, but trust me my friends, we have to do the best we can with what we have. I hope I will come back in months to tell you guys I found the solution ! :)
