This is a reply to # 2,397,271All you have to do is read Albert Pike's book Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. I think you would change your mind very quickly. Innocent people get involved not knowing what the deeper levels of Freemasonry are. I inherited my uncle's books and info and still receive his mail from the organization. I posted one of their letters here recently. He finally got out of Freemasonry by the time they wanted to elevate him to Worshipful Master. Fortunately a christian friend gave him a book to read that exposed all of the background and what he could expect as he advanced forward into the organization. His christian eyes were opened.

Agreed. Freemasonry (like most cults) is thoroughly evil, and stands in direct opposition to Gospel principles. It is but one of many not-so-subtle counterfeit versions of Bible-based Christianity, not unlike the gospel according to trapper, but it still manages to entrap the unwary.
I knew a fine Christian lady who was married to one, and by her own admission, there was something fundamentally evil about him. That musta been some marriage.

I was close to people for years that were involved and didn't even know it. I have had a close friend who invited me to one of her events for girls who's parents are in the organization. Even then at my young age and not being all that spiritual at the time, thought something was very odd and ritualistic about it all. It almost seemed like a wiccan type of ceremony I had heard about. Saluting something to the North, South, East and West. Wiccans also salute the four corners/quarters which are the four directions of the compass, and also represent the elements of earth, air, water, and fire (pentagram).
