I would try a plain water enema. I think your heartburn could be caused by reflux... if it's not going straight through, it will come back! Worth a try.

Hi - How did the heartburn go? I'm curious because after finishing a 10 day Master Cleanse, I had heartburn for a long time. I did research and discovered that I may have damamged the (forget the name) organ that causes refulx. The acidity of the lemon causes this, and can burn into the organ and should repair itself, but can have long term affects. If anyone else that's reading this can comment I'd love your advise. I'm a strong believer in the master cleanse, but have never had heartburn in my life, and I found I was getting it after eating the most simple foods - ie a salad with broccoli and no salad dressing! It was a bit alarming.
