Any amount of days is good for you, but in answer to your question:
Should I just head into it again & try to get me back on the right track?...and mor importantly, out of this slump?
If you want to get back on that track again, go for it!
I just got off of my first ever 10 day MC. I have never felt better since I was a kid! The important thing after the fast is to eat right, which can be difficult. If you remember how good you felt when you weren't eating all that junk, that should be motivation.
