Anyone else notice the close correlation between the degree of faithfulness to the gospel message and the stridency of trapper's opposition?
In fact, the correlation is so strong you could almost measure the soundness of your beliefs by the amount of opposition you get from him.
Thx for the litmus paper trappers.
@ Refreshed - the exception to the rule perhaps?
@ Trapper - Another straw man you erected for your own amusement. Neither God nor His true worshippers take any delight in the destruction of the wilfully ignorant or rebellious. And yes, that includes you:
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2 Peter 3:9-10
Your disgust is with your own perversion of the original message. It's the only MO you know, and because it allows you to score endless fake points against your detractors, it is also endlessly self-justifying. Except for the odd acolyte, none of us here are fooled by this tactic.
Time to get off your moral high horse of feigned indignation, and pay attention to what the Scriptures actually say, as opposed to what you think they say.
Until your time is up, or is ended when that last trumpet sounds, you still have time to repent of your evil.
