I'm not so sure I ever went into that, but it all depends what you want! There is lots and lots of Baja, sandwiched between two oceans... what more could you ask? If you want remote beach camping, we got it! If you want five star resorts and spas... we got that too! I personally have soft spots for places like Mulege, north of Loreto, which is a gen-you-wine oasis in the desert! A gazillion palms, beautiful estuary... funky little town with friendly locals. Seafood? OH yeah!

Check the Bahia de Magdalena from about December-March when the whales come there to calve... very primitive, but so beautiful!

Lots of guide books on the subject, but well worth looking into!
