This is a reply to # 2,369,352Sorry my last post was so full of typos (my keyboard was uncooperative).
The Secret Societies that we know of today are not modern, they are ANCIENT (more ancient than we know) (they always wanted to remain SECRET because they are COVERT).
They serve the DARK FORCES (the physical manifestation of the principalities of satan. They have infiltrated the "Church"/temple religious system.
The popular/traditional teachings that has always been taught to us are largely false, dangerous and heretical (PERDITIUOS teachings).
Don't be a "son of" perdition. Don't be a "son of man (don't be a son of either one, be a son of GOD).....Don't be a son of THE KINGDOM either, that is what the Jews were and they were thrown into the OUTER DARKNESS.
The lord tells us that MANKIND is the LORD OF (receiver of) the sabbath rest (Jesus is not the "lord"/master of the sabbath rest).
Jesus is the ETERNAL SABBATH and the eternal covenant.
The Jews knew God according to TIME (that's why their sabbath is a time period (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday).

This is a reply to # 2,369,400Just in case you were considering being a son of "THE KINGDOM" instead of a son of God....
Philosophically understood, the 'GOODNESS' award goes to "the SONS OF THE KINGDOM" (Jesus did not equate RIGHTEOUSNESS and "GOOD").
Mat 8:12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness
Mat 13:38
the good seed means the sons of the kingdom
"HOLY" means PERFECT (no one can be holy but GOD only).
We should not COMPETE with Hi,m (only God can be "HOLY").
We are NOT to be "sons of the kingdom" like the Jews were (essentially, we are A NEW FAITH, a FAITH FOR faith and are to be sons of GOD, not His KINGDOM).
Before Paul was an apostle, he was the chief Pharisee.
You can see in Acts 9:2 who he persecuted.

This is the real reason that God destroyed Sodom and Gommorrah (the ONLY thing He held against them, READ (not “STUDY”/analyze all of chap. 16).
Eze 16:49 Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, surfeit of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy.

This is what the Romans did wrong….
The Romans KNEW GOD (they had scriptures), but God not accept any of their efforts/deeds they performed as worship, nor did He even accept their thanks (it all fell on deaf ears because their worship/dedication/honor was EMPTY of heartfelt sincerity (a BOOK devotion is meaningless).
Rom 1:21 for although they knew God they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened.

In Joel 2:38 the Lord tells us what He will do in the last days.

The Lord is no respecter of "PERSONS"/phonies,....He only has regard for GENUINE/REAL people (SOULS, LIVING SOULS).

This is a reply to # 2,369,429The Battle of Megiddo was fought to keep the merchant ships sailing the trade routes (the Via Maris roadway was important to access the merchant ships) and the kings and queens of the southern part of Egypt were there too.

This is a reply to # 2,369,435If a person really wants to know the truth of scripture they have to stop letting BECOMING A GREAT SCHOLAR get in their way (egotistical/prideful self-proclaimed 'holy' man).
Many people like to build up (puff up) their ego by imagining they can be "HOLY".
The first dispensation/provision of divine blessings from the creator/"DEITY" is the crucifixion of Jesus as the LAMB of God.
The second and ETERNAL part is the living water that poured from Jesus's side along with the blood, 1 John 5:8).
In scripture it is said that Jesus is the whole/complete "FULNESS of deity".
If you make the effort to understand a LITTLE, then you will be given more understanding.

This is a reply to # 2,369,441If you refuse to live by the new law (the "LAW OF LIBERTY", James 1:25 and 2:12) then you will be considered to be LAWLESS.
The Old Testament is basically the HEBREW BIBLE.
MOST of what Jesus says in both old and new testaments is said to the JEWS (MOST)....we can easily recognize what is meant for us by the Spirit).
We should also be aware that Jesus spoke to the Jews in figures of speech (poetic license of sorts).
John 16:25 said this to you IN FIGURES, the hour is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures
Jesus abolished the 10 commandment law (the law of sin).
Eph 2:15 by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances
2Ti 1:10 who abolished death and brought life
If that is not clear enough(the law of sin caused DEATH).
Heb 2:14 that through death he might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil,
James 1:25 and...
JAMES 2:12 are to be judged under the law of liberty.
....the OLD law (10 commandment law) has been abolished/destroyed. The new "law" is not an OPTION, it is A LAW/mandate.
Not living/abiding by the NEW LAW WILL MAKE YOU A "MAN OF LAWLESSNESS".

a friend and i have been exploring the concept that man is made in the image and likeness of god. people tend to think they know all they need to know. this is a trait of an omniscient god.
it is clear that it is not what youdo but the kind of fruit you produce that counts. fruit is free for the taking. it falls from the tree just because its that kind of tree.
we probably are at odds with our semantics but i like the vibe of what you say. it rings of truth.
