I have taken mebendazole at a strength of 200 mg per day for up to 4 days. I had no adverse reactions until I combined it with pyrantel paomate for a day. Then it became neurotoxic but it also killed a really nasty tapeworm. My prescription from my Naturopath was to take one day of pyrantel, 3 days of just mebendazole and then 1 day of both.
I had to get rid of the other parasites first before I got to the tapeworm.
Eat a fatty meal and then take the mebendazole. You can also make a suppository out of it and coconut butter. Freeze and insert at nite.

Mebendazole is readily avail in Europe but it mysteriously disappeared from the US in 2012, only to be substituted with albendazole at $100/pill. Big Pharma strikes again.
