You've made it obvious that knowing TRUTH is not your number one priority and that you are satisfied only by being aggressive and judgemental of your fellow man (predatory and contentious).
It is HUMAN NATURE (man's ways) to be uncomfortable about the truth.
My mention of PHILOSOPHY was deliberate and strategic (similar to Paul's speech, generic).
The Athenian culture was largely formed by the teachings of Socrates and the principles/precepts of peace, truth, and justice (which is why Paul saw no need to mention Jesus). The Athenians were a very Godly culture by nature.
The Athenians were so appreciative of Paul's speech that the Areopagus still exists today well preserved and has on it a plaque that contains Paul's speech ONLY his speech and nothing else).
Isa 57:15 says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
Isa 57:16 For I will not contend for ever, nor will I always be angry;
Isa 57:17 Because of the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry, I smote him, I hid my face and was angry; but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart.
Isa 57:18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and requite him with comfort, creating for his mourners the fruit of the lips.
1Co 11:16 If any one is disposed to be contentious, we recognize no other practice, nor do the churches of God.
Heb 5:12 you need some one to teach you again the first principles of God's word. You need milk, not solid food;
Exo 32:9 And the LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people
2Ch 30:8 Do not now be stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD, and come to his sanctuary, which he has sanctified FOR EVER, and serve the LORD your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you
Act 7:51 "You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you.
Paul's speech was VERY meaningful, there is even a book called PAUL.THE NEW SOCRATES IN ATHENS.

Paul is listed as #3 on this list...

Don't be stiff-necked or predatory, that is not the way God wants us to be.
