Tapeworms die in segments, body goes, then the bulbus head. Entire sections split down the cut come out, along with a river of white seeds when you really do a deep killing. I used Praziquantel.
Tape worms are flat worms, they have seams.
Round worms are round, meaning they do not have seams, or are seamless.
Skin worm sounds large, flat. Some round can spiral up. Large Quarter size welt mounds are from Blood Fluke species.
As to round worm sizes, it matters little. Many species have stages. Everyone has a L1 egg, L2 larval, filarial, juvies, migrans, adult, senior stage. Some species stick at just one stage, then the disease name is the same as the stage. So one can have filarial stages, or a filarial illness. it kind of gets into a weird naming thing.
To wipe out the infection, as Dr Clark says, you must kill all the stages at the same time, then mop up.
I have developed a fluke formula, 3939 Ascaris
formula, and Strongyloides/Filaria formula.
Kind of Flat/Round/micro lung.
Tape worms are kind of easy at the doses I do for flukes. The last 4 months I have not updated the document. It has been kind of busy.
Elisa test goes from positive, to threshold, to very positive depending on the Species. It is a fairly broad spectrum test Antigen that says very frequently: roundworm infection.
That is all you need to know, to justify taking the roundworm meds.
It sounds like an uncomplicated systemic infection. Of what I cannot completely tell. I suspect a tougher worm, like Ascaris
or Strongyloides. I actually had an Ascarid, a softer Hydraulic species.
I would get a couple of roundworm tests and see what comes up.
