On the wall In my house there is an old world map on flat paper. At the other side of the room is a traditional (round 'globe') world map on a pedestal affixed so the globe can spin. Both show Burma. In the world of things I determine warrant concern, pardon the puns, questioning the earth being flat, no, round, no, flat, salt is not good for me and what happened to Pluto is and has been so little of priority to effectively be not even on my m......radar but I am willing to consider pertinent information with potential to sway my opinion. Short of that I reallly do not care as either is fine given that the earth is both flat and round. However, if it only be flat, how does one, for instance, sail west from the west coast of Australia and eventually make land at the east coast of India? The flat map on wall indicates this cannot happen because such a journey eventually travels off the boundary of paper map and onto the glass window to its immefiate left . It is a fine window but aside from the occasional insect or peeper, I find it diffucult to believe anyone wants to travel there as a destination.
