Hi Paula,
I have read your posts on this forum. Seems to me that you have been on
a quest to improve your health, mental and physical, for some time. I
don’t think that you are giving yourself enough credit for these
advances. I feel that you are doing pretty well and just need to keep
on going in the same direction and speed. However at some point you
will reach a plateau and it will feel like you are not making any
progress. Don’t despair. This leveling out is so that you can catch up
in all the other phases of life.
If what you have is insomnia, then I have “super insomnia”. I don’t
have a regular sleep time or wake time. I go to sleep when I feel tired
and stay awake the rest of the time. I don’t let this bother me. Last
night I went to bad at 2:30AM and woke up this morning at 8:00AM. Not
enough sleep? I don’t worry about this. I will sleep during the day
when I’m not busy. Why don’t you when you wake up at 3:00AM do
something constructive. Like cook, clean the house, sew or whatever you
feel like. This is the time when you can anything you wish and usually
no one is around to criticize you. Don’t try to test yourself to find
out if you feel refreshed, of course the answer will be negative.
You’ve setup yourself up for a disappointing result.
Instead just DO!
Do your liver cleanse if you really feel like it! Just don’t try to
force yourself because you believe that this is the right time.
Let’s discuss your plan later this week or early next. I realize that
your situation is stressful but then we all have a difficult life. So
stress is part of living. Sorry for all this rambling but I feel
that I needed to get these feelings of mine across to you.
