I've never heard anything about "special times of year" for doing a cleanse. I personally don't think it matters. I have combined the P&B shakes & SWF's during my previous cleanses. I did the SWF's in the mornings and the shakes at lunch and evening. They consider it the "Ultimate Cleanse" when you use the P&B shakes.

Read Rebeckahs post in the FAQ regarding why it's not a good idea to do the PBs on the MC. The guy who came up with the so called Ultimate Cleanse did not have a good understanding of how the BPs work which point to me that it's just not a well thought out idea at all from the git go. If you do decide to do the BPs after reading Rebeckas post make sure you also read ptrees famous post in the FAQs to learn how to do the BPs correctly.
