I wanted to share a bit of success!
I started three years ago with trying varying doses of lugol's iodine, before I had completed my removal of amalgam fillings and a more successful parasite cleanse. I tried the few 5% drops a day, all the way up to a few 30% drops for 200-mg doses, and had really violently unhappy reactions - forgetfullness, all the way to insomnia and depersonalization.
the history is pretty convoluted, but I've had insulin-dependant diabetes since 9 months after the first amalgam fillings, and a history of mental illness (parasitic overload, anyone?) in my family.
The folk in the Iodine VWT forum pointed out that what I was experiencing was detox symptoms, gave instructions, and had a good bit of patience on the matter.
So let's see.. I'm now over a year and one month since the last amalgam was removed (by IOMT-certicified and trained dentist), have had a root canal pulled, done a parasite cleanse (with castor oil to finish a few weeks of clarkia ), and a liver flush (epsom-salt, olive oil and grapefruit juice)..
I was up to 4 drops of 10% lugol's yesterday without emotional upset, problems sleeping or troubling detox symptoms. (I use lugols in a bottle with neodynium magnets)
I started in the morning with 2 drops to test the waters out, and later in the day, after the vitamin C and some ( 200mg ) selenomethionine and a trace mineral capsule (for zinc), I tried 2 more drops.
My mood was in fact quite high the whole day through, and I fell asleep quite naturally (I took one more selenium (methylselenocysteine) for good measure then.). It was a bit of a surprise to feel blushing and heat, before sleeping- I've otherwise had trouble with hypothyroidsism.
ortho-iodine supplementation is well worth it!
And definately, definately, doing things in the proscribed order. ;)
