Hello!
This is my first time writing here, but I have gotten a lot of help from Curezone in the past!
I was diagnosed with leaky gut by my Naturopath -- I took a urine test from Genova Labs. I also took a stool test for SIBO, which came back okay, although it did show I had a little bit of candida. Now, my Naturopath has me on a TON of supplements to get me better. I really appreciate my Naturopath for finally getting to the root cause of why I've felt crappy for the past 5 years, but I don't see synthetic supplements as much different than "western" medicine.
So, I was wondering, has anyone ever "cured" their leaky gut without supplements? I was thinking a whole food plant-based diet (I'm vegan) low in grains and high in probiotics (I make homemade sauerkraut and pickles), foods high in glutamine (red cabbage), slippery elm, marshmallow and aloe might be enough. I know bone broth would be helpful but, as I mention, I'm vegan.
Any thoughts would be MUCH appreciated! Thank you in advance.
