well, day one off the fast is almost over. i'm drinking the juice and quite enjoying it. i don't crave sweets anymore, in fact, i'm noticing that i crave spicy food. the thought of eating something sweet just doesn't appeal. it's strange, i can't remember a time when a kit kat bar didn't have any power over me. i feel like jennifer connoley at the end of "labrynth". my main worry is my metabolism. it wasn' t that fast to begin with (thanks to years of yoyo dieting) and i have about 30 more pounds
to go. i know this list advocates going to at least a vegetarian diet, but i'm not going to. i did how ever buy my first freerange chicken yesterday and cage free eggs. also stocked up on organic foods. potatoes, onions, etc. anyway, my question is. how much did the fast slow down my metabolism. it's too late to worry after the fact and i'm not exactly sorry, but i am worried.
