Writers of the plot were so conspiracy illiterate they portrayed a scenario many times better than what we currently live in as "the worst there could possibly be".
2. After the dam got blown up (which knocked out power to the supreme leader,) the supreme leader ordered everyone in the rogue district killed. So he staged a bombing run on their refugee shelter, which in the American scenario he would have had complete control over the construction of and it would have been annihilated because such a robust structure that could provide that kind of protection to the American people would never be allowed to be built by private people in America. If that attack happened in America everyone would have been dead if the order had been given to kill everyone. Yet in the hunger games practically everyone was able to survive the attack by going down to the lowest levels of the shelter.
Here is another laughable scenario - The rebels had military grade aircraft which they were able to fly into the capitol to rescue one of the good guys. How the **** did that happen if the Hunger Games really had a true tyranny in place? If the Hunger Games tyranny had even 1/4th the accountability structure in place in America, the rebels would never have gotten ahold of any sort of aircraft. What would happen in America if the militia of Withee Iowa got their hands on an F-16? What a dream world the producers live in! If they are going to do a "tyranny movie" at least consider the world we already live in. Not to mention the fact that there is such a thing as back up power, no rebel force would have a snowball's chance of wiping that out in the American capitol by blowing up a dam. How would the resistance avoid radar well enough to get anywhere near the capitol with a large metal aircraft in an American style military state unless that state did it to itself to justify more tyranny like ours did on 911?

"As it can be seen by the references to the cult of Artemis with human sacrifices, she was a bloodthirsty goddess. Of all the gods in Olympus, only one other god demand human sacrifice – Ares."
"But it is vital for New Agers and others to understand that this is not the "goddess" symbolism the Illuminati and their placemen talk about. They just want you to think it is. The serpent goddess is known under countless names around the world, including Diana, Artemis, Athene, Semiramis, Barati, Britannia, Hecate, Rhea, Persephone ("First Serpent") and so on. These same names have also been used to symbolize esoteric concepts like the phases of the Moon and female energy, but at its foundation this goddess worship of the Illuminati would seem to relate to the DNA transmitted through the female and possibly originating in the constellation of Orion. I have heard this DNA source symbolized in various cultures as the Dragon Queens, the Orion Queen or Queens, and the "Snake Mother"."

In the following image of Artemis;
- Are those eggs or are those breasts?
- if those are multiple breasts, then it is true that Artemis was a fertility godess although the myths had her as a virgin godess in some parts.
- seeing as to how the other parts of the statue is executed with a kind of perfection, the breasts seem to be in the wrong position, anatomically speaking.
- which means those are not breasts, but are eggs.
- eggs are reptillian, which means what we are looking at is the image of a draco queen.
- and look closely at what is inside her dress or skirt : are those mini dragons? Does this remind you of KHALEESI, from the Game of Thrones?
Dragon mother?

We have stags on the bottom row, lionessess above them, winged dragons above them, with lions topping the assembly of animals:

Plus, the sculpture of Artemis above, also is shown with small (baby?) dragons on her shoulder, flanking her head.
Kind of reminds me of Khalleesi from Game of Thrones with the dragon babies on her shoulder. Amazing how all these visualizations are similar:

How conscious was Suzanne Collins of the role Hellenic Godess Artemis played in the character of Katniss, when writing the story? According to her, she based it on the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur.
"In September 2008, Scholastic Press released The Hunger Games, the first book of a trilogy by Collins . The Hunger Games was partly inspired by the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Another inspiration was her father's career in the Air Force, which allowed her to have better understanding of poverty, starvation, and the effects of war."

My question:
So, if Collins based the trillogy on THESEUS, how did so many coincidences with ARTEMIS pop up?
•In the second post below , I outline my theory on how modern day movie stories are influenced - the metaphysical aspect of controlled creation.
•In the third post below, I reveal who I think ARTEMIS really is.
•In the eighth post below, I give my reason as to why Artemis is being invoked today via a movie. It may sound silly, but with these guys, .....you never know.
Here are coincidences, or similarities between ARTEMIS & KATNISS EVERDEEN, she of the Hunger Games:

12 conicidences between the MC (main character) of Hunger Games & Hellenic Godess ARTEMIS
(This is my compilation, and is a GLP Exclusive. )
1.
Both were associated with the HUNTRESS, and HUNTING.
2.
Weapon of choice for both: The BOW & ARROW.
3.
Both are pictured with stags and hinds
4.
Protector of young girls:
Both Artemis and Katniss are associated with the protection of young girls. In part 1 , Katniss protected Rue.
5.
Both are associated with childbirth. Although the roles are different, Artemis being a virgin godess, and Katniss being described as pregnant:
"Although Caesar knows what the dress represents, they play it off as the bird on Katniss' token. At Peeta's time to speak, he lies and tells the audience that he and Katniss are already married, and that Katniss is pregnant. This drives the audience to madness and hysteria."
6.
Artemis saved Iphegenia from her father’s sacrifice, similar to Katniss saving her sister from becoming a tribute - sacrifice.

7.
Peeta returning from the dead in the third part:
Here we see the same 'return from the dead' association of Artemis' lover (Artemis as Cybelle, because Artemis was known to be a virgin godess):>
There were other places where this goddess (Artemis) had cults, the most famous of them being Ephesus, which was in what is now Turkey, but there she was really Cybele, another goddess who never had children either, but did have a very famous lover named Attis. The goddess often wore a crown of towers and either sat on a lion or was accompanied by lions, or else rode a chariot drawn by these big cats. The only thing Attis ever did was die and then come back alive, which is pretty exciting by itself.

The HANGED ARTEMIS - THE HANGING TREE
We see a curious association with the huntress to trees.
Also Katniss sings 'The Hanging Tree' which was taught to her by her father, and we have the myth of the hanged Artemis, or the hanging Artemis. (Masks of Artemis hung on trees to celebrate the story of the Hanged Artemis)
Besides being worshipped as hunter, destroyer, crone, Moon, and many other aspects, Artemis was seen as a tree Goddess. Trees in general, as well as of the world tree were hers, the latter being the source of unborn souls. The Vikings called this tree Ygdrassil, and it would produce the first person of the next world, the woman Lif.

The goddess of still and running water is also naturally a goddess of trees and fish. The strange worship of Artemis 'AirayxoiJiivi], the 'hanging Artemis,' at Kaphyae in Arcadia*' must have originally been consecrated to the goddess of vege- tation. Pausanias tells us a curious story concerning it which conceals the meaning of the ritual : once upon a time certain children in play attached a noose to the neck of her idol and said that they were hanging Artemis ; whereupon the men of Kaphyae stoned them, but the angry divinity smote their wives with a disease, and the oracle bade them atone for the innocents' death ; the Kaphyans obeyed its injunction, and instituted the cult of the 'hanging Artemis.' The custom of hanging the mask or image of the divinity of vegetation on a tree to secure fertility, of which other instances will be noted '', sufficiently explains these and similar stories ;

The death of Cato (Hunger Games) and Acteon (ARTEMIS) are very very similar:
Cato’s responsibility in the act (the alliance trap which caught Rue) marks him out for a very symbolic death. He is torn apart by mutant wolves, but not before Katniss finishes him off with an arrow. Cato’s death is very similar to one which befalls Actaeon in Greek myth. This chap upset Artemis and was transformed into a stag and torn apart. I’ve attached a pic here which is a pretty good representation of Cato’s death.

Refrences to bees, and the hive (as in hive colony of the aliens?)
The Elohim, the gods of the Old Testament, were the race of El, a dragon queen. The Greeks knew El as Artemis, the cruel mother-goddess who demanded human sacrifice. Artemis (also known as Diana) was the major deity of the Merovingians. Artemis was symbolized with bees, as is the Merovingian bloodline. It is the same with other versions of the goddess like Demeter, the "pure mother bee", and a symbol of Aphrodite was a golden honeycomb.

Katniss and the hexagonal HIVE. The honeycomb shown in the video is a symbol of APHRODITE,(the golden honeycomb) as mentioned above. You can see the golden honeycomb of Aphrodite at 0:44. Supposedly made of fire, the ring of fire seems to give the hive a golden color :

Both Artemis & Katniss associated with GAMES:
While Katniss was a participant in the annual Hunger Games, Artemis was an Olympian, belonged to the pantheon of the 12 Gods of OLYMPUS, and is associated with the Olympics:
Twelve Gods
In Greek mythology, there are twelve chief gods, known as Olympians. Olympians referred to the gods who resided in Olympus.
