There is no right or wrong answer. Its difficult to take too much, within reason of course. Personally I ramped up to 50mg rather quick and have stayed there, likely permanently.
Some claim you need a lot more than that. At the end of the day, docs in the field have found it takes 6-12 months at 50mg a day to reach sufficiency. Sufficiency can be determined by doing an
Iodine loading test.
Its also estimated your body need approx 12-13mg a day or so, so if your not even taking enough to meet daily requirements your will NEVER reach sufficiency. Anything over 50mg will likely just reduce the time it takes to reach sufficiency. Once sufficient you could probably cut back to what your body needs daily but that is often affected by halogen exposure etc so most of us just chose to run 50mg or more a day indefinitely.
