Over the past two weeks now, I've been having frequent urgent, greasy floating bowel movements. The stool is soft but usually not diarrhea and I ALWAYS floats. Additionally, the stool is usually made up of what looks like undigested food bits and it appears that the food is from less than 12 hours prior to the BM.
I can sometimes have a bowel movement 7-8 times in a day. As this has continued, I've been seeing more and more what I believe is mucus in the stool.
Here is a photo of what I found recently. Is this candida? Mucus mixed with stool? Some kind of parasite?
My GP is on vacation and I have an appointment with the next week, but I wanted to see what others think in the meantime.
