The first day of my first fast, back in May, I had food cravings something awful, but not hunger. The lemonade would quickly take care of any hunger pangs I might feel. It wasn't til day 20 that the lemonade seemed to stop assuaging feelings of hunger; on day 22, the third day of this, I broke the fast, feeling my body was telling me to stop. (along with other signs)
Today is the first day of my second fast. I've been drinking the lemonade all day, but I feel so hungry, I'm nearly doubled over. I am NOT having food cravings... I'm not thinking about food, I don't WANT to eat, this is completely physical.
What I'm wondering is, is this normal for the second fast, or is my body trying to tell me that it doesn't need this right now? I'm trying to decide whether to ride it out to see if it dissipates in a day or two, or to stop now.
Any thoughts, experience, feedback?
