I am looking to get some parasite testing done. It seems that Metametrix is the lab of choice on this forum. Unfortunately their GI tests are not available for my state. I am wondering how folks rank other labs? Assuming that they are a participating laboratory my insurance will cover part of the cost, so even if they are not the best lab, it would be helpful to know if some are better than others. I have seen some people suggest Genova, but as far as I can tell from their website there a sibling company to Metametrix.

Has anyone used Parasitology Center Inc? I don't think they take my insurance, but their Full GI Panel is $266 and their Comprehensive Stool Analysis is $164. That's much more reasonable than the $400-$500 Metametrix quotes I've seen people mention in their posts..

And what about the run of the mill companies? BioReference? LabCorp?
