One of the things I always advice when folks tell me they are thinking of doing the
Master-Cleanse for the first time is to plan the start when you'll have at least 3 or 4 free days after you start cause those first 3-4 days "usually" are when you'll go through the "less comfortable" aspects of detoxing and hunger.
So if you work see if you can get a monday and/or friday off and use those days plus the weekend to start the MC. If you feel the headache coming on just start drinking lots of water. For me guzzling 1 Qt all at once did the trick almost without fail withing 1/2 hr or less. If it wasn't gone by then I would guzzle some more water but that only happened once.
Many times the folks that get the worst headaches are the regular coffee dinkers and it a sign of caffeine withdrawal. So if that's your case try and wean yourself off the caffeine before starting. If you're not a caffeine person another good idea is also to clean up your diet and start drinking lots of veggie juice and some fruit juices for a coupla weeks or longer to start your detoxing gradually before jumping on the MC. This will also help get in the groove of a healthier lifestyle mindset after the
Master-Cleanse which I firmly believe is where is where reaping the rewards of the cleanse really lie and definetly an intregral part of the cleansing process.
