i have bought an air purifier with the odor sensor. It's not new, it's a few years old.
The good news is that the odor sensor works, but it's week or something.
When I blow in the sensor through my mouth (10
cm away from the sensor), yellow and red signal lights turn on and purifier automatically start to work in the strongest mode.
Same thing is if I blow in the sensor through my nose.
This means that I'm constantly spreading bad odor around me just by breathing and talking.
BTW I'm having holes in tonsils so I guess the sulphate reducing bacteria are in it and they are causing this smell.
I think the best thing is to remove tonsils, but that could take 6-9 months if doctors will be cooperative.
The bad news is - the purifier does not detects very well odors in the room and it's not very efficient in removing them. I guess thats because it's a few years old...
