i just had a bunch of tests done to try to figure out what's going on with my body. my main symptoms have been severe fatigue, brain fog, various stomach/bowel problems, vaginal itching/pain, and a general feeling of illness.
the tests i had done were for liver/pancreas/gallbladder function, lyme disease, thyroid function,
food allergies , vitamin deficiencies, blood sugar, yeast infection culture..
ALL of them came back perfectly normal, INCLUDING the yeast culture (which surprised me - i have been treating myself unsuccessfully for candida for almost a year)! the only thing that is out of the ordinary is that my white blood cell count is high.
the doctor suggested that i might have had a case of mono in the past that went untreated, thus resulting in my high white blood cell count, and the fatigue and brain fog.
after getting the results of the yeast infection test back, i am starting to doubt if candida is even my problem. it seems like my brain fog and fatigue have actually gotten infinitely worse in the past few months, despite my rigorous treatment.
any of you have any advice on the white blood cell thing? i am going for more tests soon, to try to figure out why it was off by so much..
