It just crossed my mind, but what if this extended water-fast somehow will affect my IUD? Could my body try to expel it? Or the hormones from it hurt me while on this fast? I totally spaced it off, and I guess it is technically a form of medication, since it is birth control.- Re: Water-fasting with an IUD, could... applecore

This is a reply to # 2,114,073Well, as a foreign object in the body, the body naturally will want to expel it. Am I right that this sometimes happens anyway, even without fasting?

This is a reply to # 2,114,138Right, yea so far it's never came out for me. However I have heard of this happening for other girls just because, not having anything to do with fasting as you said.
