Okay, let's start by eliminating things. What brand of krill oil are you using? What are the ingredients? I would venture to say that it's not the krill oil itself but an added ingredient somewhere. See if you can locate that. Of course, I would say that if this is an ongoing problem, instead use flaxseed oil or another form of Omega 3's and see what happens. But check out the ingredients first.

I have no idea why it would just affect your knee cap. All I can say is check the ingredients or try different brands, and if it still happens, well, then must be the krill oil. Have yout ried Dr. Mercola's krill oil?

All I can say is try Dr. Mercola's Krill Oil and if you get the same reaction, then for some reason it's the actual Krill Oil.
Your back pain............ That must be pretty severe pain. Not familiar with the shards of glass feeling. Would it resemble a burning? But the key here is that it occurs only during times of stress. And I am not a doctor, and I have no idea what a diagnosis would be, but the stress aspect needs to be closely examined. So the stress itself would have to be alleviated. If there are emotional components to the stress you are feeling, then it would be worse, and this would have to be resolved. So what you would have to ask yourself if, what is the stress all about, why is it affecting you this way, and how can it be resolved. From what you tell me, if the stress was removed, there would be no pain. And if it is various forms of stress that you are experiencing or your back is reacting to all sorts of stress, it would be important to find out why you are reacting to stress in this way.
One thing you may want to try is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which has been very effective in dealing with pain. Here is a link that may help: http://www.emofree.com/ You can also get examples of EFT on youtube.
But what you're telling me, it looks like the source of these pains is the stress that is affecting you.
