I've found mixed reactions in the past when first making water kefir, so thought I'd bring this one to a "live" audience.
Have had a jar of water kefir in the fridge for several months. The length of time wouldn't ordinarily concern me due to the nature of kefir, but I notice some filmy residue and strings in the jar.
No idea where I stashed my grains, so this is all I have at the moment and was hoping to use it.
Would you drink it?
