Thank you for your responses. I'm at wit's end dealing with this thing. Whatever the case may be and whatever it is I do in fact have, it's causing me much intestinal distress. I've been fighting this problem since late January/early February and I have been able to gain weeks of respite, but then it resurfaces. Last week I totally had it under control and it felt like I was really getting a grip on this thing. Since Tuesday of this week it's all been down hill, and I don't know why. I stick to a strict anti-candida diet, etc. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
In response to Mr. Baker's question, yes I have had stool tests down, but they've never looked for candida, only certain parasites
and bacteria like E. Coli, etc. I've seen three doctors whom don't seem to agree with my self-diagnosis. They never even suspect candida overgrowth. What should I do? It's getting to the point where I fear to even eat anything because I've developed a problem with elimination. I can digest, assimilate, my appetite is very good, and I have very little other symptoms besides the intestinal distress. This problem actually grew out of using acid blockers and antacids for an extended time and also eating pastries, dried fruit, and juices in the morning around the time of me using the acid blocker medication. I never had this problem before and around this time last year I was absolutely fine. Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to provide insight and suggestions. Keep 'em coming.
