I want to give you some encouragement. I had the same exact derealization, brain fog, memory lapses, anger issues, SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, as you. It started when I was 18....but had candida symptoms ever since I was about 15. I never knew it then...but it escalated slowly. Along with the accutane I took for acne...which made my gut inflammation worse...and Antibiotics
that I took...the candida went fungal...and that's when the derealization and systemic symptoms started. I remember feeling like I was in a dream...or like I am witnessing my life from a different point of view. And the constant suicidal thoughts and severe anxiety. Yeah I'm with you there. It will all go away. You just have to be smart about the process.
I also took heavy amounts of probiotics and did the strict diet. I would only get worse and worse. This is because the candida toxins that are emitted put a heavy load on your immune system...and you literally feel overwhelmed, like you're drowning in toxins. So I advise you to first think about what might have caused this to happen. I know a lot of people might tell you that it's a bad diet, stress, or fatty liver, but I think there's more that that....like heavy metals.
It's interesting that you have fungal systemic candida at such a young age. There is a good chance you were exposed to heavy metals that allowed for the candida to slowly build up...up until you drank that soda, and that's when the candida went fungal and released all of its spores in your system...and made a home in your body. After that...it takes a lot of dedication to be cured. You have to retrace all of your steps leading up to that moment. Do you have any amalgams...or have you had them in the past? Were they removed (which is more dangerous than having them in your mouth). Is it possible that you may have been exposed to metals in any other way? For example when I was about 9 years old I remember breaking a mercury thermometer and sleeping in a bed full of mercury...I had no idea at the time...but maybe that's what caused my candida. I had a couple of Amalgams
when I was younger too...but had them removed...maybe that's what caused my candida. You can never really know what it was.
I got tested with the provocation test and found I had 4 times the normal levels of mercury in my body. This was 2 years ago. I chelated for about a year...and after that my candida started to die off at a quick rate. Then I had to get rid of the colonies litle by little...and this put a big stress on my already weak body. Right now I am 99 percent free of candida....and I truly attribute this to chelating of the metals.
I really don't want you to waste your energy on battling this thing without figuring out the cause...b/c in the beginning you will feel much better...but then you might hit a plateau....and then only get worse. So after a couple of months if you feel like you are getting worse...I suggest you look into chelation.
You are young but you seem like a smart and devoted person, you will get through this.
