Even if the Dr. suggest more or less medication; it is you that actually have to put in your mouth. You can say yes and ok, behave nice, not argue yourself into a cuckoo diagnosis :-) But in the end of the day is your choice if to take the med or not.
Before I stopped seing my doctor, I got a few prescriptions that I thanked him for at the office. Never bought them though..

I can predict what she will say. She will say that your TSH is too high, Iodine causes a temporary rise in your TSH which simply proves that your thyroid is absorbing its much needed iodine.

IMO, if you tell her about iodine, she is very likely to disparage it, because iodine is a threat to her future income. She does NOT want you cured with iodine. Just my humble opinions and I could be wrong. If she embraces iodine, she is a wonderful doctor & a KEEPER !
