Dr. Jeff, I know from reading the forum that you recommend SF722 as the best antifungal. Currently I am taking coconut oil (several TBSP a day), apple cider vinegar (3 tsp a day) and Primal Defense and am on a very low carb diet - I am having success in that I am getting rid of the candida quite consistently, and my symptoms are improving, although they are up and done depending on my cycle (sorry if TMI!). I also recently started doing castor oil packs daily. But if SF722 can get rid of it faster, I would be very happy - been at this for almost 6 months now, and if there truly is a way to charge ahead more quickly out of this misery, I would like to.
My concern about SF722 is this - I read about it on Thorne's website that for long term, systemic problems with candida, SF722 is not enough. They recommend a whole rotation schedule, which is quite expensive, because the candida will develop resistance to the various anti-fungals. I am not interested in trying anything which involves a rotation schedule - the reason I do coconut oil is because it consistently works.
So my questions are:
1) Is SF722 enough to kill candida? Or do you have to rotate it in a serious case?
2) Will I develop a resistance to it and have to switch to other antifungals?
Thank you for your time.
