Iodine in pregnancy, but I am unsure of the effect when taking Synthyroid, and the fact that you started
Iodine just now.
I guesss what I would have done myself in the same situation was to low dose
Iodine (12,5 mg daily)with 100 mcg of selenium methionine.
I would also take all companions that goes with iodine, like magnesium, real salt, vit B and C. These are very important during pregnancy. Maybe some zinc too, balanced to iron, if this is low. The latter two I would take low and steady, like 10-15 mg daily.
zinc, vit c prevents stretch marks
vit B prevents heart burn
magnesium may prevent preclampsia, leg cramps etc.
real salt for hydrating + for the amniotic fluid.
All these in addition to a good diet of course.
