That is the whole point of it all. It is extremely scattered and hard to collectively follow. Everyone thinks their way is right, but no one seems to acknowledge the topic being discussed. Anything involving heavy metals is not a small topic. There is at least a century of peer reviewed journals compiled on the subject in toxicology, environmental science, military science, and various engineering and biology fields. Sadly it remains obscure to the public. It is basically the most dangerous compound on the planet outside of actual radioactive and nuclear substances.
My personal belief is that with about 7 to 8 years of proper detoxification therapy, one would be almost "fixed" after being "exposed".
What you really need to consider is that if you continue to live with poorly functioning cellular health and detoxification organs, you only continue to over accumulate these metals and other toxins. If you use a chelating agent but still have weak organ function, particular bile excretion- it is like stirring up asbestos in a sealed off unventilated room. You would rather have the asbestos stuck inside the walls and insulation of the room as compared to stirred up. The alternative is to "vacuum" out the "air"- i.e your body. This is what healthy cellular function does.
I am not saying do not use a chelator- I am saying do not use one if you cannot support the body's ability to filter out the blood the chelated metals through the liver and colon and out of the feces.
I think this need for support to get all the metals out is why it takes years and years to do this stuff right. But I would like to see some immediate progress and I think that it can be achieved if things are done in the right order.
Well that is the hard part- figuring out the order, duration, and amount of things.
