This is a very good uterine toner, rich in calcium, which means it helps with leg cramps (even if you aren't pregnant). It also is supportive of the uterus during labor and after delivery continue to drink it to reduce the bleeding post-partum.
It is also beneficial for nursing mothers in milk stimulation. :o) Hey, it's good all the way around.
BUT... for someone who is sensitive to herbs, it can cause pre-term labor. This is not common, but it does happen. As long as you are aware of how sensitive you are to herbs, it should not be a problem.
I recommend getting the book _The Nursing Mother's Herbal._
Using certain herbs during pregancy can induce labor and terminate the pregnancy. Others are supportive to a growing life, you just have to do a bit of research.
Wormwood is a category E which means that it is considered toxic and not recommended during pregnancy or nursing. (wormwood is one of the three herbs listed for parasite cleansing. The other two are considered safe--black walnut and clove)
You are a step ahead in getting yourself cleaned out!
