Hopefully no-one would suggest doing anything other than eating healthy foods that you would normally eat and letting the bowels do what they will when they will. You needn't worry about anything inside your digestive tract as the food you eat will stimulate the perstaltic movements to push it through. If you find that you are constipated then perhaps a little help might be needed.
After my last fast, I regretted not using a glycerin suppository or something similar to help ease the passage of my impacted rectum. It was not a pleasant experience and after two weeks, I was still having trouble sitting down comfortably. To be fair though, when my system decided to get rid of it, I had no doubt in my mind what was happening.
