I think you likely need to up the dosage sizes (depending up his weight). For children and pets, the rule of thumb for tinctures is "one drop per pound per dose". So if Chakra weighs 10 pounds, each dose of tincture should be 10 drops.

Another way to calculate child/pet size dosages is to make a fraction with the weight of the pet on top and the average weight of an adult on the bottom (150 lbs)...so if he weighs 10 pounds, the fraction is 10/150...then reduce that to the lowest common denominator, which is 1 over 15 or 1/15th).

So, a normal adult/human "dosage" of the tea, is 4-6 cups daily (that's 32 - 48 oz). One fifteenth (for Chakra) of 32 ounces is 2.13 ounces (a bit over 1/4 cup). One fifteenth of 48 ounces is 3.2 ounces (more than 1/3 of a cup, but less than 1/2 cup). So it sounds to me like you likely need to increase the amount of tea substantially.

If he were here (and he weighs around 10 pounds), I'd be giving him 10 drops of the tincture 4x daily and I'd strive for 1/2 cup of the tea daily (2 Tablespoons 4x daily).

The parsley tea is a great addition (as is the cranberry juice, if it's actual/pure cranberry juice...which is almost impossible to find). Honestly, it sounds to me like he's 'out of the big weeds' with all the purring and 'talking' :)

Tip: One thing you can do with garlic to 'get it in' is to make a very dilute garlic oil (mash up, say 1/2 a big clove with a couple/three tablespoons of warm olive oil, let it sit a few hours), and then rub some of the oil on the top of his paws. Generally no matter how bad it tastes, a kitty will just *have* to lick it off :::grin::: (kids! you have to trick 'em anyway you can).

...and you should accustom your pet to accepting them BEFORE you need to use them to administer therapeutic liquids :)
