Hi MH,\
HAY
hoping you could help me understand something.
I CAN ALWAYS MAKE A GUESS....I CAN NEVER MAKE MUCH MORE THAN A "GUESS".....
a few years back when I was a meat/vegetable eater my skin colour was a dark brown.
OK
over the last couple of years I am attempting to be as close to full fruitairian as realistically possible, for health reasons more than anything else. i've noticed from photos that my skin colour is alot whiter (not as good).
OK
BEAR IS MIND I was very unhealthy internally before, contary to how I looked externally. Although my skin colour is not as good now, I do feel much much better.
KEEP IN MIND, THE "OLD" MAY HAVE TO COME UP AND OFF...SOME SUGGEST UPWARDS OF 7 YEARS FOR A TOTAL REMAKE....
ALSO, ARE YOU LIVING FAR SOUTH AND GETTING DAILY SUN NOW? WINTER HERE IN THE STATES MEANS EVERYONE'S SKIN LIGHTENS UP.
However, I have been experimenting with fruit juices recently. Freshly pressed at home. From early on (couple years back) I tried to use orange juice, but felt that this made me feel too thin, as I was already underweight. I found apple juice worked for me best then, and stuck to it for most of that time.
OK
From time to time I would experiment again with OJ, but would cut it down with distilled water. It never worked out so well, so I would only try it once in a while, mostly sticking to the faithful apple juice.
OK, USUALLY, PEOPLE CAN TAKE ALL THE ORANGE JUICE THEY WANT AND MUST DILUTE OR DRINK VERY SLOW PURE APPLE JUICE AND DRINKING MORE THAN 8 OUNCES OF REAL APPLE JUICE AT A TIME IS ASKING FOR A KIDNEY ACHE......BUT NOT ALWAYS, SOME PEOPLE ARE "DIFFERANT".
When I can afford it, its always nice to have freshly made pineapple juice - I would love to try that exclusively for a period of time when finances are permitting.
I would say I like that the best, has the best effect on my mind and body and tastes the best! (just too damned expensive, well certainly over here anyway!).
I COULD, WOULD DRINK 1 QUART FRESH PINEAPPLE JUICE EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE IF I WAS LIVING WHERE THIS WAS AVAILBLE...
Anyway, for the last couple of months I've tried OJ again. Don't know why, just FELT like it. Tried it cut down with water, no problem so slowly experimented up to 100% OJ. And now I can tolerate it no problem! On top of that I am CRAVING it all the time?! Never had this before! So clearly something is improving.
SUPER, I DRINK IT DAILY FOR MANY YEARS NOW, WHEN WE DO NOT HAVE IT, I AM COMPLAINING WITHIN 12 HOURS AND IF I EVER HAD TO GO TO JAIL, I WOULD HAVE WITHDRAW SYMPTOMS IF I COULD NOT HAVE FRUIT JUICE EVERY DAY.
However, the other thing I notice is that my skin colour looks WAY HEALTHIER when on the OJ - although not super dark, it is darker but very RED. Pineapple has a similar effect but not as profound, and apple juice just keeps me at the lighter/whitish colour.
MY DAD WOULD TURN VERY DARK WHEN WORKING DAILY IN THE SUN. MY FIRST JOB OUTSIDE THE FARM AT AGE 18 WAS PUTTING ON ROOF AND SIDING AND I TURNED VERY DARK.....WE WERE BOTH HEAVY MEAT EATERS.....MY DAD STOPPED MEAT EATING WHEN HE GOT PROSTRATE CANCER, AN OLD MD TOLD HIM THAT STOP EATING MEAT WAS THE ONLY CURE AND IT DID WORK AND MY DAD NEVER GOT REAL DARK ONCE MEAT FREE AND I DON'T GET REAL DARK, BUT STILL TAN WELL...SOME MAY SAY THOSE THAT GET DARK HAVE GOOD ADRENAL FUNCTION.....BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS TRUE OR FALSE...
Now, there is NO WAY this is from the colour of the fruit, because if it were I would look yellow from the pineapple, and this is not the case. Plus, I dont look orange, I would say it is red.
I KNOW IF YOU DRINK ENOUGH CARROT JUICE OR SWEAT POTATOES YOUR SKIN CAN TURN ORANGE!!!!
Anyway, I would like to get back to my old colour, maybe that is not possible as it was from meat eating, and I guess sun would be the best - but its winter here now, so no chance of a tan.
SEEK THE SUN AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, IT WILL WORK OUT IN TIME PERFECTLY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE DAILY SUN ON YOUR FREE SKIN...PITCH THE SHIRTS!
GOOD LUCK,
MH
So would I be right in thinking the Red skin colour is from what Dr. C said, which is oranges are high in potassium and Dr. H with the increase in red blood cell count?
thanks,
