I am doing OJ-fast and Sitz-baths and have started experimenting with adding various herbs, plants, foods, etc to my hot bath. Sometimes preparing them in first with a juicer or blender.

I HOPE YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY AND HAVE A GOOD SEPTIC SYSTEM.
Just tonight, someone else was making a butternut squash soup… I LIQUIFIED the seeds, pulp & rind with a blender and poured into my hot bath. Also added some fresh-ground cinnamon and cloves, a spoon of coconut oil and a few drops of thyme oil (don't have oregano oil yet). All very funny, me soaking in my "soup" while the others eat theirs.
I PURCHASED A DAMAGED TUB YEARS AGO FROM LOWES FOR SUCH PURPOSES WHERE YOU BATH OUTSIDE AND WHEN DONE, LET THE WATER GO INTO YOUR GARDEN SOIL...THE OLDER METHOD WAS TO DIG A HOLE IN YOUR GARDEN AND BATH IN IT WITH 40# OF CLAY, ETC.........OR HAY, HAY WORKS WELL IF THERE IS PLENTY OF ALFALFA.
Yesterday, it was fresh picked dock leaves. Tried some tea with the root too.
I ACTUALLY HAVE A 5 GALLON COOKER BESIDE A SPECIAL BATH TUB FOR MAKING TEA FOR THE BATH...THE COOKER HAS A SPOUT AT THE BOTTOM SO YOU CAN WARM YOUR BATH BY ALLOWING MORE HOT TEA TO ENTER.
On other occasions, with masticating juicer, I put the resulting juice and pulp in the water. Less oxidation this way then the blender…
…hot pepper, garlic, frankincense, myrrh, oils, all kinds of fresh leaves from the garden, juiced grass, ...
So, does anyone has suggestions of things to try, OR CAUTIONS? So many possibilities...
hmm… autumn red maple leaves?!?
Another detail (too much?), this is all happening in 5 gallons of self-gathered-spring-water. Tiny tub. Therefore, less dilution of ingredients!
GO BIGGER, BUY YOURSELF A OUT DOOR TUB, ONE THAT WAS DAMAGED IN THE PACKAGE OFTEN CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $25 AT LOWES AND SIMILAR STORES THAT SELL TUBS.
