Greetings of health! (and my sincere apologies for the delay) --
Rather than copy/paste your posts in their entirety (creating a very long post that's not easy to scan quickly for data), I'm going copy/paste & respond to the sections of your posts where you've asked questions or I've got IP information or "thinks & thoughts" to share for your consideration. What that means is that the things you've already researched, instigated and planned so wonderfully are not here, and what I add may come across on a monitor as "negative" :::sigh::: I'm not being negative (and certainly not critical!), I'm just doing my best to make sure nothing is overlooked (and/or put on my "Dr. Schulze cap" and do/say what I think he would have done/said. So :::reaching for Dr. Schulze cap::: onward to healing!
The plan is to do the first 30 days as cleansing and the second 30 days as rebuilding. I thought the rebuilding herbs would be more effective once he's finished sufficient cleansing.
I'm understanding that you're considering not utilizing the rebuilding herbs & therapies in the first 30 days in order to create a terrain that more capable of rebuilding, and I can see where that makes sense. However, it also makes sense that by not utilizing the "rebuilding herbs" and/or "treatment herbs", it's possible the various causes/damage/symptoms would continue to worsen...which could cause the rebuilding stage to be more difficult. I'm almost positive that I've never heard of Schulze doing this; and I can't think of any reason why one wouldn't want to get as much 'symptom relief' as possible and get the healing & rebuilding momentum started (especially when so much is being invested) After you've had a chance to go over this all with him, I think/hope you'll want to give it some additional thought.
I've put together an example routine, like Schulze's here: healingtools.tripod.com/incurprogsched.html
...but it hasn't gone anything close to that! ...He just started grad school, and we're currently dealing with a flea infestation...The spinal tap is scheduled in December for another diagnosis, and we're trying to erase this in that amount of time, even though we know miracles don't just happen and we're going to have to work super hard for this one. Nonetheless, we're planning on 60 days now to the best life will allow, and if we don't get the miracle we were trying for then we'll have to start over when our schedule is less hectic... maybe a rigorous, full force IP when the semester's over.
Grad school, fleas, and likely lots of other 'life stuff' with the MS issues - I totally understand & empathize! What I think I'm understanding is that he's already started 'working some IP into his schedule' while going to grad school, and is going to continue 'some level of the IP' until December, then take a break or regroup in some way (depending upon the results of the spinal tap) and then commit to the full IP after that depending upon the results of the spinal tap (and symptoms)? Or I am misunderstanding? I know (both from experience and from the SYL and other Schulze writings), it's tough to gain "healing momentum" and it's easily lost...and many (many times) during the breaks, the symptoms can come back even worse than they were. From the SYL manual:
How long must you stay on this program? For at least 30 days.
You may need to be on it for up to six months, depending on the severity
of your condition. You can also do the 30-day incurables program as a
touch-up when your health is running down again. Also, depending on
your condition, you may be able to take a week break in-between the 30-
day cycles. In that week break, you don't dive into junk food. You can just
eat a quality vegetarian diet.
However, in severe cases, a break in this routine may not be
advisable. Do not discontinue this program the minute your disease
symptoms disappear. Continue until long after they are gone. Otherwise,
you may be only partially healed.
Of course, the choices & decision are all hist to make - but IPing and restoring the body from an "incurable disease" is a full-time job and should take precedence over anything & everything else. If there's any way possible to do this 100% until healed, that's what I advise (and I'm sure all the great healers would agree).
Here's where I gathered most of my IP info from:
Yep, those are the two "Foundational IP" posts - good searching! When I checked them both, I see that my latest edits to the main one "didn't take" (grrrrr). Here's what I've re-added (and this time, I checked to make sure it's there!)
From the Daily list:
--Sleep on Earthing sheet/pad nightly, and be Earthed/grounded in an many ways as possible during the day (foot mat, mouse pad, etc).
--Kelp (preferably Dr. Christopher's Kelp Combination) for iodine & other nutrients 1 tablespoon daily (1 teaspoon 3x or 1 tablespoon at once) This has always been on the IP (it's in our Apothecary "IP package")
More on Earthing ahead, but first I want to clarify what the "foundational IP" without customization for any particular illness entails & includes (as it seems like perhaps it's not clear): Everything on the list here http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1438129 is the normal/baseline IP...without any specific customization or "rebuilding" added. While it may seem there are herbs that are for rebuilding or a specific illness, this is not the case at all. They're for nourishment and creating a 'state of health & healing' in the body. For example, it may seem like the Black Walnut Hull tincture is for parasites, but it's green Black Walnut Hull that's most effective for parasites.
For example, here's a list of some of the reported attributes of black walnut hull: promotes healthy digestion and assimilation of fats; encourages bowel regularity as a natural laxative; oxygenates the blood for healthier organs; antiseptic healing properties (both internally and externally); aids in balancing blood sugar and reducing cholesterol; helps flush out toxins and harmful pathogens. Dr. Christopher said that black walnut (the bark in particular) helps keep fibrin 'fluid' rather than becoming hardening and doing harm (and in MS, hardened fibrin deposits in the brain are an issue). I suggest we mix the black walnut hull tincture with black walnut bark tincture (which we have 'in house', but isn't listed in the Apothecary), that way Patrick would benefit even more. Dissolving any possible fibrin deposits is a part of getting ready for rebuilding. (Of course, he could choose to take both tinctures full strength).
The Echinacea has FAR more benefits than just modulating/regulating the immune system, and the Herbal Calcium doesn't just have great calcium (which can be beneficial for muscle cramps), it also has silica (which is integral for all tissue regeneration). Of course, it's a major building block for myelin sheath.
Anybody doing the combined IP of Schulze/Christopher, no matter WHAT their issue/s, does the full basic protocol...and up until your suggestion to do it in "phases" (if I'm understanding correctly), I've never heard of the herbs & therapies for regeneration, restoration and healing not being done all together from the beginning. Okay (whew) now that's clear for sure...back to the Earthing!
After reading the Earthing book, doing tons more research and having personal/family experience (aside from what others have posters), I am absolutely 100% positive that Schulze, Christopher & Gerson (and many others) would have been thrilled to make 'Earthing nightly' a required part of the "IP". And in the case of any disease or syndrome that's considered to be autoimmune related, you can double that assurance!!! Why? wow, it'd take several pages to give an adequately, but I'll try to condense it to a couple of paragraphs.
Starting here (a Google search on: "Muscular Sclerosis" + inflammation: tinyurl.com/44klg7v ). "They" say that autoimmune diseases are caused by our own immune system attacking us...and while we can understand the concept, we know that this is NOT "natural". In the Earthing book, it explains how free radicals (in many cases, the cause of 'inflammation') are actually "quenched" by the negative electrons we uptake from the earth when in contact with it. This not only reverses inflammation, but can/should actually stop (or lessen substantially) the unnatural actions of the immune system in autoimmune disorders. The explanation in the Earthing book is outstanding - I'll go check and see if that section happens to be in the .pdf 'book excerpt'....dang, no such luck. Well, I need to get this information 'in print' so I can share it with others, so rather than try to explain it, I'll just 'type it out' (our scanner broke awhile back and since we need a new printer too, we're still without a scanner).
From Earthing The most important health discovery ever? (pages 58-60)
Your immune system protects you against pathogens and facilitates the rebuilding of tissue at sites of injury or surgery. When a problem develops someplace, your body does the equivalent of calling 911. The alarm sounds. White blood cells and other specialized cells constantly cruise throughout the tissues of your body, like police patrol cars, ever on the alert for viruses, bacteria, or other alien microorganisms, as well as damaged cells created by trauma or internal irritants. As weapons, some of the cells release a shower of powerful free radicals (called an oxidative burst) that aid in the destruction of invading microorganisms and damaged tissue.
Free radicals have gotten a bad rap, and you will see why in a minute, but in reality they perform an essential service to the body. Simply put, they are positive-charged molecules (short of one or more electrons) that search for free electrons to become stable. You can call them electrophiles -- electron lovers. Normally, these free radicals obtains their missing electrons by stripping electrons away from pathogens and damaged tissue. The activity kills the bad bugs you want out of your body and breaks down damaged cells for removal. As the remedial work winds down, excess free radicals produced during the immune response are neutralized by anti-oxidants or free electrons in the body.
The response is triggered whenever you have a disease or an injury. It is called the "inflammatory response." As a result, you may feel the familiar signs and symptoms of inflammation: swelling, redness, heat and pain, and, depending where the site is, decreased range of motion.
CHRONIC INFLAMMATION = ELECTRON DEFICIENCY
Inflammation comes in two forms: acute or chronic. the acute type takes place as an initial response of the body to harmful stimuli. It involves the mobilization of plasma (the yellow-colored liquid component of blood) and white blood cells from the blood into the injured tissue, as just described. That's okay. You want that to happen.
Then there is chronic (prolonged) inflammation. That you don't want. Chronic inflammation means a progressive shift in the type of activity going on at the site of inflammation. You get simultaneous destruction and healing of the tissue, but a harmful free-radical encroachment into healthy, surrounding territory. the destruction derby continues, and it can seriously harm you.
Free radicals obviously have starring roles in the immune response, but problems arise when the process fails to wind down completely after the job is done. The good guys become bad guys on a rampage, ripping up innocent, healthy cells. Think of security dogs that snag the burglar and then go after their owner. They continue attacking and oxidize healthy tissue. The immune system gears switch into overdrive, sending in more while blood cells that produce more free radicals. This activity is why free radicals have a bad rap and why scientists unanimously agree that free radical activity is at the basis of chronic disease and the aging process, particularly accelerated aging and limited lifespan.
We believe that normal inflammation veers out of control because of lost contact with the Earth. Peeople are suffering from an electron deficiency--not enough free electrons on hand to satisfy the lust of rampaging free radicals. They continue to attack the adjacent neighborhood of healthy tissue in an ever-expanding vicious cycle. The nonstop attack mode generates an autoimmune response manifesting as chronic inflammation. The immune system has run amok, attacking its owner--you.
We've simplified the scenario, but this is basically how it works. A destructive process unflolds that can continue siliently and indefinitely even for dozens of years and lead to so many intractable modern diseases. Earliers we mentioned the new scientific term for this--inflamm-aging. Now you can see where it comes from.
When we know that MS is considered an autoimmune disorder and inflammation is implicated in damage to myelin sheath, and we add the fact that "science" recognizes a possible viral connection/cause (Hepatitis, Epstein-Barre)...and we add the fact that although the CDC and most of mainstream medicine deny it, there's plenty of evidence that Hepatitis innoculations induce or worsen MS? Well, the need for Earthing becomes even more clear; along with the need to add the anti-virals (see Dr. Schulzes Cancer/Immune Tea in the SYL manual) as well as additional Echinacea. New paragraph for Echinacea...starting with the involvement of cytokines in MS :)
What's the involvement of cytokines in MS? Google search = "muscular sclerosis" + cytokine: tinyurl.com/66hrcjg
Echinacea is a very misunderstood herb and one of the biggest misunderstandings is the concept that it bolsters the immune system, when it actually modulates the immune system. And this action of modulation actually prevents the immune system from going on the kind of rampage where cytokine damage occurs. In fact, Echinacea root will actually prevent a cytokine/chemokine storm. Also, because we now know that Echinacea is an immune system modulator, there's more and more evidence being brought to light that we don't need to take a break from using it (which was commonly thought by most herbalists & healers, including Dr. Schulze). This study (PubMed even! lol) Echinacea: a Miracle Herb against Aging and Cancer? Evidence In vivo in Mice shows that continued use (throughout the entire life of the mice) actually increased the life-span. The immune system of the mice that had been given Echinacea all their lives proved to be stronger when the Echinacea was stopped, than those not given any, or given it only sporadically. Of course, we're not mouses, but there's strong evidence the same is true of human immune systems & Echinacea. And in case you didn't realize it, Echinacea is extremely effective for Candida, too. I've got a entire 'harddrive full' in my brain to share with you, but that can be shared when we talk on the phone (for those who know I don't "do" personal consults, I always find/take the time for at least one long phone chat for folks doing the IP for an "incurable"). Oh yes (gotta sneak this jewel in), there's one study that showed Echinacea to be as effective as cortisone for reducing inflammation! Check your email bkrisp, and we'll schedule a time to chat (hopefully with Patrick, too) asap.
Month 1: Part I - Bowel and Parasite Cleanse 10 days -
Herbal checklist: Uny in rust

Cayenne tincture (2 droppersful) - 2 / 2 / 2 He may or may not want/need the tincture 3x daily when doing the ACV Bomb 3x daily - it's definitely needed until he gets up to 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne powder 'per dose' (the Candida HATE it when he takes the powder/acv :)
Potassium Broth - 8 oz / 8 oz / 8 oz
Distilled water - 8 oz / 8 oz / 8 oz / 8 oz / 8 oz / 8 oz 'definitely need water after each dose of the IF#2, but I'm starting to lean toward 'not needing so much extra water' with all the juicing, herbal teas, kefir/ferments, etc.

'Sounds like he's doing GREAT on his diet and your list above looks very good (everybody that's IPing needs to have some kind of checklist - good for you for getting it done early in the the game!).
This is the order we were planning on: I'm a bit confused with the way you have this "itemized" - we may be thinking the same exact thing (just describing it different), so I'll 'describe my way' and you can see if it's the same or not :)
The IF#1/IF#2 comes in "30 days worth" packages - it's a bit less expensive like that.
The 5 day Liver & Kidney cleanses come as 10 day cleanses (which is enough for two 5 day cleanses) - which is also a bit less expensive. OR you can get them as 5-day cleanses...just make sure at least one of each includes the Blood DeTox tincture.
Month 1: Part I - Bowel and Parasite Cleanse 10 days 30 days on the parasite cleansing - then continue on into subsequent months if needed
Month 1: Part II - Bowel/P & Liver Cleanse 5 days
Month 1: Part III - Bowel/P & Kidney Cleanse 5 days
Month 1: Part IV - Bowel/P & Liver Cleanse 5 days

6 oz Calcium Tincture
8 oz Kelp Combination
1 - 42 oz Superfood (Original) for 6T daily
4 Cold Sheet Tea
8 oz Slippery Elm Bark Powder
8 oz Bentonite Clay (for use in detox baths, poultices, or for 'detoxing' non-organic produce)
8 oz Activated Charcoal Powder (for charcoal poultices on liver or for adding to IF#2 for extra 'detox power')
Month 2: Part I - Bowel & Nerves 10 days
Month 2: Part II - Bowel/Nerves/Liver 5 days
Month 2: Part III - Bowel/Nerves/Kidney 5 days
Month 2: Part IV - Bowel/Nerves/Liver 5 days
Month 2: Part V - Bowel/Nerves/Kidney 5 days
The juice combo/blend is great - but don't hesitate to 'mix it up' a bit every now & then. I'm sure we'll find various produce/combinations that the 'juicing masters' indicate are good for the various symptoms of MS>
When juice fasting, one "fruit" is allowed in the Superfood smoothie...if you want to use it in the Almond 'juice' smoothie - that's fine. But more fruit than that, and it's really not juice fasting.
I'd up the wheat germ oil to 1T 3x daily. Miss H created a concotion of crushed/minced garlic, wheat germ oil & nutritional yeast she swore was wonderful!
Liver drink: somehow! I thought this was 8oz distilled water, and then enough lemon/orange/grapefruit WHOLE to make two cups, then a 1" chunk of ginger, 2 cloves garlic, and 3 tbsp olive oil. I just realized TODAY that the fruit is only 8oz of the JUICE, don't know how I got that mixed up! Is there the teensiest weensiest chance that I might go on doing the smoothie version, or is it flat-out, not recommended on the IP??
Lol, don't beat yourself up - you ARE going to make a few more mistakes (you can plan on it, unless you're super-human). Strive for perfection - it's the best and only way to grow. One of my favorite sayings: Aim for the stars, hit the moon; aim for the moon; hit an eagle; aim for the eagle, hit a rock.
When juice-fasting, it seems Dr. Schulze allowed a fruit in the Superfood smoothie (we can't find anything otherwise, and his old Superfood smoothie recipe always called for a piece of fruit.)...but 'as above', when juice fasting - only 1 blenderized fruit allowed daily. Use it wherever & whenever he wants it most. When Rocky & I juice-fast, we opt-out of the fruit in the Superfood and go with straight juices.
At least for the first month, designated towards bowel/parasite cleansing, it might be helpful to have the added fiber.
When juice-fasting, it's JUICE-fasting :::grin:::...there's plenty of fiber in the IF#2 and Slippery Elm. One is not "required" to juice fast for lengthly times on the IP, but it's advised as often/long as possible (raw vegan & vegan are definitely options). Just fyi - my first juice-fast lasted 12 days (I had nothing but juices and water). Since then I've done several 5-7 day fasts and two 30-day fasts (with potassium/mineral broths and various herb teas). This spring we had high-hope on doing a 60-day juice-fast together during August/September (with all the produce we'd have from our 850 sq ft garden). But alas, the rains (and cold) came and stayed throughout the spring and early summer, and we were only able to get a few rows planted :( :(
Shower filters & fluoride - (grrrr) - agreed - now that the one company sold-out, there's nothing we can do about the fluoride. It infuriates me every time I see/remember something about how much our skin absorbs! I haven't done a search in the last few months (so I'll do a quickie now) - Hmmm, well, this one looks very promising: www.ocfitnesssource.com/products/shower-filters/omica/omica-zeolite-shower-water-filter.html but there's no 'scientific data' at all about the various levels & percentages. I'll definitely put 'emailing them' on my to-do list and let everyone know what I find out.
We make a CE "concentrate", too. We start with 9 1/2 cups of water and add 1 cup (16 level tablespoons) of S.A. Wilsons coffee. We've guestimated that much coffee absorbs about 1 1/2 cups of water, leaving us with 8 cups of 'double strength' concentrate. We put that in a 1/2 gallon jar in the fridge. Then when we want to do a 4 cup CE, we put 2 cups of coffee concentrate in a kettle, heat it up to 'pretty hot', then add 2 cups of room temperature water to cool it down...bingo-wallah, ready to "up da" in a couple-three minutes :)
Deep tissue oil massage: I've been using the deep tissue oil on his upper spine and neck, though I'm not really sure where exactly to work on with MS.
Massage it in wherever there is pain, stiffness, cramping, or tremors...or wherever you want to increase circulation. If he's lost feeling in his feet, that'd be a 'great add' to foot reflexology.
-For the ACV bomb, is it okay to take the acv/honey/cayenne first, then swallow chopped garlic, without chewing, with water? I started doing this after finding these posts because no one could stand to be around me ;) Also, is it okay if I drink the chopped garlic separately with the liver drink as well?
No problem at all with the ACV bomb - I just threw the garlic in there to make it easier. It's okay to not mix the garlic in with the liver flush drink as long as you have the garlic a few minutes before/after the drink. You want the benefit of your liver getting the garlic/ginger/oil 'all at once'. A few minutes isn't going to matter.
-For the second month, is it okay to stop taking the Black Walnut tincture as the emphasis on Parasite cleansing was designated for the first month?
After reading 'the above', now you know the answer is no (unless he has an allergice reaction or is proves to be a problem in some way). Besides, if he find intestinal or liver/other parasites, he'll continue the Unyworm dry and liquid until all traces are gone...and a few weeks after all traces are gone. (As I mentioned, black walnut hull is not nearly as effective for critters as green black walnut hull anyway).
-Superfood: I've started using 42oz of the Special Blend. I've read that Schulze loaded up his neuro patients with Superfood for the algae RNA rebuilding here: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1454984#i I've been doing 4 tbsp yeast in the almond juice smoothie, shall I up the dosage? Right now I'm using Lewis Labs 'Brewer's Yeast Flakes' Nutritional Yeast. http://www.lewislabs.com/products/brewersyeast.htm#flakes Before I was using Solgar Brewer's Yeast, but then all the stores ran out.http://vitaminusa.com/00-33984-00380.html
We designed the "Special Blend" for folks that are still eating meat & dairy (it has substantially LESS nutritional yeast). Superfood Original is for vegan dieting & juice fasting. With 6T daily of Superfood Original and 4T of Brewers yeast, you should be better than good!
Candida: This is a big one in our case, and the main reason why I thought it would be best to do 30 days of cleansing first. From what I can tell, Patrick has a systemic candida issue, which is evident by numerous skin patches/reddening on the chest, back, arms, etc. Also, very flaky scalp and ears. I KNOW we have to clear this issue up FIRST, if we expect to see any improvement with the MS symptoms. I'm thinking of kick-starting the Echinacea (HerbPharm) with a whole 1 oz bottle dose, before starting Uny's for the rest of the program (until starting Blood Detox tincture).
'Seems like you may be stuck in a bit of allopathic-alternative thinking (will any of us EVER completely undo that conditioning?! grrrr). I'd venture to say that a major-big percentage of Dr. Schulzes end-stage/incurable patients had some level of candida & gut dysbiosis (how could they not?)...yet Dr. Schulze didn't wait to start the anti-cancer herbs until they'd cured the candida/dysbiosis, eh? Many (many!) of the herbs are extremely multi-facted (and the blends even moreso). Take the Cancer/Virus/Immune tea...the name says what it's for...but all (yep ALL!) of the herbs have a direct effect on candida in various ways. Christopher & Schulze (and Gerson) = genius! How could they not be? They had to 'make it work' (and make it work fast), or people died. All of them "did it all at once" while strongly supporting the systems of elimination, detoxification & neutralization (so the body wouldn't become more compromised from the die-off and huge toxic burden). I'm definitely no genius (and I certainly don't have the knowledge to 'create' a protocol like the IP)...but I'm one helluva "compiler"...and I've spent 'years worth of hours' comparing, contrasting, connecting the dots and eliminating the duplicates (and I'm still learning more every day). The IP is AMAZING! The one thing I know is that we've just GOT to ditch the brainwashing about the "limitations" of our body's capacity to restore and heal itself. It WANTS to be well, and it knows how to do it. The IP is like taking a classic/vintage car (that's been driven hard but hasn't been maintained properly for 30 years), and putting it up on blocks and giving it a complete restoration (rather than fixing only one part or system at a time, only to see the other parts/sytems break-down even futher before we get to them, only to see the parts we originally repaired beginning to break down while we're working on the others). Doing it the long/slow way would be brutally stressful on the body - yet that's the way we "know" we should do it...? even though we're surrounded with 100's of posters every day that are doing their best 'that way' and obviously failing miserably (thank you very little, PTB ). Yes, it IS true that we need to create a strong foundation, but our houses are already built and now they're falling apart! We can't ignore the leaky windows, walls crumbling and roof caving in to rebuild the entire foundation, or the whole thing just might cave in on top of us! We've GOT to do it all at once - that's exactly what make the Incurables Program SO effective! WOOHOO & YAHOOEY!
He's had the candida skin condition for 10 years now, is it possible that it could have been a cause of the neuro damage? According to this article "the major products of normal yeast metabolism (ethanol and acetaldehyde) are well known toxins that cause serious damage to living tissue....and possibly brain tissue, neurons, etc., but I'm just speculating here....http://www.ei-resource.org/illness-information/environmental-illnesses/candida-and-gut-dysbiosis/...It may be worth mentioning that he's had canker sores/thrush since he was a child, which the article states that gut dysbiosis can begin in infants. "In fact the gut flora is the major factor involved with the development of the immune system aftebirth."
Of course, when we're systemically compromised, the terrain is perfect for anything and everything to go wrong...whatever the 'final' diagnosis, it'll typically be 'the weakest link' genetically. We're like a wind-up 'energizer bunny', we just keep going and going and going and going (ignoring all the warning signs, learning to live with the symptoms, and never stopping to seriously address our body as an entire organism), and then one day one particular symptom becomes too big or threatening or disabling to ignore. The part/system that finally breaks under the stress of all the systems being compromised, will likely be the one with the biggest "factory flaw" to start with. I agree, the chronic candida/dysbiosis had to play a major part, but another 'major' had to be the hepatitis innoculation (he may still have live virus/es doing damage, and certainly compromise from the "vaccine"). The important thing is that we know what to do about it!
He has two painful canker sores behind his bottom lip since he started juice fasting, and I assured him they will go away when we defeat the candida, but his response to that is that he's been getting them since he was a child. Only time will tell ;) He'll definitely knock out the systemic candida while IPing - time will prove it and tell it :) Juice fasting definitely causes us to 'detox', and so when symptoms appear, hit the 'detoxifiers' harder...CE's, extra charcoal/bentonite in the IF#2 (or bigger doses of IF#2), plenty of sunlight, activated charcoal poultice on liver (or kidneys), bentonite baths, etc.
Juicing: The juicing isn't really a problem, but I thought that maybe during the Liver Cleanse (5 days) we could add a RAW salad as per Schulze's schedule. Since I had a rough time fasting on the Liver Cleanse, I just wanted to make sure he doesn't get too sick since he can't afford to miss any classes either. Also, the fiber may serve some cleansing purpose?
It's all his*** choice, but he needs to make a choice based on knowledge and good healing priorities. The "5 day protocols" were something designed to be "do-able" for people with full-time jobs, not necessarily doing the IP for an "incurable disease". Yes, he used them clinically for folks doing the IP, but when one chooses to juice-fast, it overrides any "5-day diet plan". Please be sure you both read/reread this: JUICE-FASTING: The POWERFUL healing therapy! and this one that you/he likely haven't seen: The Healing Power of Juicing - Dr. Foster's Essentials (Dr. Foster somehow studied under or worked with Dr. Schulze at one time - you'll notice most all of her products are his formulas...but she is an "MD" and as such, and some non-natural methodology/products).
***Speaking of Patrick's choices (this is tough/rough to say and hear, but it's truth that needs to be addressed) - I'm sure if you've read much of Dr. Schulzes writings, you know that if he were running this forum he wouldn't reply to your posts at all...he'd say: "it's Patrick's health, Patrick's body, Patrick's life, Patrick's choices - let him know that when/if he wants my assistance he knows where to find me". And then he'd give you a big hug and tell you it's not your MS, and even though you love him and share your life/world with him, many times partners/spouses are the worst IP helpers (because they're FAR too sympathetic, etc), and explain how it will harm Patrick's progress if he's not able to work directly with him so he could know the lines of communication from him to Patrick were CRYSTAL clear. Dr. Schulze would not work with a family member or loved one unless the sick person was incapable of communicating with him. And he had TONS of very good reasons for that. :::breathing deeply, closing eyes and knowing if I'm going to put on my Dr. Schulze cap and do the best I can for Patrick, I have to finish this truthfully...and you need to (please) realize I'm not accusing or judging you in any way at all - this is a situation/learning curve that MANY people have to climb:::
For example, "since you had a rough time fasting on the Liver cleanse, you want to make sure he doesn't get too sick since he can't afford to miss classes". (btw, these are all rhetorical questions for helping you both, not questions to which I require answers) I understand where you're coming from, but how does any of that assist Patrick to focus & do the IP fully, completely, and aggresively with his entire body, soul & spirit? And how does you projecting your own negative experiences and fears/worries on him, help him to be positive and aggressive like he needs to be to heal himself? For the IP to work 'as written', he has to do it all 'as written'. The best and most rapid/complete success comes to those who say "how can I ramp this up?" rather than "how can I make this easier so I can focus on more important priorities? and make sure it doesn't 'make me sick'?" We're talking an incurable, crippling, painful life/body threatening disease here...and 'the cure' seems to already be being crowded out and compromised by "grad school" and discomfort or nausea? (Dr.Christopher quote after being told he had made somebody throw up...? "Great! More room for the next dose!") Which one of you (or both) are doing the "crowding & prioritizing"? (I obviously have no way to know). What I do know is that if "grad school" is attached to financial aid, and that financial aid is the ONLY way y'all can afford to do the IP (and there's nothing that can be sold to fund it), then that's something that needs to be addressed & worked with (and most profs at that level will be very understanding with a man/student that has to miss classes due to MS). But if 'grad school' is being placed higher on the priority list than curing Patrick of MS...then the end-results WILL mirror the priority list.
The IP is not a "guarantee"...it is the best chance/odds he has to live a healthy normal life. Every aspect of the way he 'plays the hand' will increase or decrease the chances of success. If he prioritizes grad school over the IP, there is a very real possibility the MS will worsen (there's even a possibility it will worsen anyway...none of us are God). If y'all need to, put it out on the table and look at it in the brightest light there is...at the end of the day, what is most important? Which can you live with being "2nd" on the list?
Whew, okay, 'all done me' :::thankfully taking off the 'Dr. Schulze cap'::: I know you're a believer, and I believe you one-hundred percent when you said "the IP is the only option". It's my job to make sure that the pathway Patrick chooses is a free of pitfalls and 'boulders in the road' as possible...and I'm absolutely SURE you want the same thing!
Basia, all your notes, comments & research show that you've spent a LOT of time learning, digging deep and putting together the pieces. And overall I honestly feel (for where you are in the journey), that I'd score your prep work a solid 93-95%...definitely an "A" on ANYbody's grading curve! And I want you to know that I am absolutely sure that I know virtually nothing about either of your situations, life challenges and what you're having to do & overcome 'behind the scenes' to get this set up in order to achieve the healing you BOTH deserve. Other than the wife/partner issues & prioritizing the IP (issues & learning curves that every couple/person has to deal with when facing something like MS), I am positively positive you've done the best work you can do (with the best attitude) of virtually anyone I've ever assisted. So please (pretty-please) do not let my (possibly erroneous or partially erroneous) discernment & concerns be anything for you but a yardstick that will help you measure where you are and what you need to do next to accomplish Patrick's healing miracle!
Healthiest of IP blessings,
Unyquity (who did NOT check this for typos - )
