I agree cali, most food is used as comfort food.
I forced myself for health reasons, to find 'comfort' in fruit juices. I add mollasses or maple syrup or honey to fruit juices if they are tart. I warm and puree in a blender/smoothie maker the fruit and add spices and call it fruit soup, this is comforting on colder evenings.
Warm apricot fruit soup with cinnomon clove nutmeg vanilla maple syrup etc. or cool strawberry soup with mint in summer. The ways to eat fruit are many if you spice it up to your taste and find some good recipes..
I had to do a lot of scut work/dirty work, remodeling etc, this last week, I found I can do 10 times more work on a oj fast then when clogged with food.When the heavy feeling of food makes a person , sick enough, they may try fruitarian /liquidarian diet.
I got really sick and congested from milk. I substituted coconut milk for cow milk and my health improved greatly. I am 'lactose intolerant' 'casinate intolerant' or 'cow teat dripping' intolerant. whatever you call that mucus producing slime called milk.
Coconut milk has been a lot of fun for me to use in smoothies etc. and NO MORE congestion!!!!
