I would love to use keepvid but when I try and download a video I get this warning:
An applet "keepvid.com" is requesting access to your computer.
The digital signature could not be verified. Do not trust this if you do not know who issued it.
Then when I click on the "details" button it says this:
Self-Signature Root Certificate
X This root certificate is NOT trusted.
The X is in a red circle. I've got a Mac, I'm wondering if anyone else is getting this warning when you try to download something? Its rare when I get a warning on my Mac so I'm paying attention to it lol!
Also, it says the certificate expires September 29, 2011. When I've got warnings before its been because the certificate had already expired so I don't know what this means.
Help please lol!
Great!
Thanks, I'm downloading now. ;-) It'll be fantastic if this works for me, can't wait to see!
WOW!
It took less than a minute and I've got a permanet video on my laptop so when TPTB decide a video is too telling, I'll still have a copy. Woohoo, you've made my day Telly ;-)
Thank you so so much!
Well I guess I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the day and for days to come lol! I've been saving YouTube videos to my desktop for well over a year now, when I do they aren't hooked to the web but when I view them they are in a webarchive and they come up looking exactly like I'm watching a YouTube video online. This is much better.
I'll have to figure out how to burn it to disc. I downloaded it as MP4 and it plays in QuickTime, don't see a "burn" option but I haven't really looked hard for one lol.
Thanks again.
Wow, easy. All I've got to do is 'control, click' and an option comes up to burn to disc YAY!
Thanks again Telly. ;-)
