Oxypowder is a form of Magnesium Oxide, this isn't a new chemical and has been used by humans for a long time, it is made in nature also. Inside the body this will just produce alot of water, and maybe some oxygen. To my knowledge, no one whilst on
Oxypowder had a solid BM, those that may have had them, probably had some form of dehydration, those that slept better MAYBE suffering from dehydration, magnesium imbalance (an important co factor of depressive states)
Oxypowder CAN help with candida overgrowth, this is because it will kill it with oxygen, flush out waste, this will allow Lactobacillus to repopulate to some extent, that will produce oxygen and hydrogen peroxide and kill candida, however those with MAJOR candida overgrowth, this will be the tip of the iceberg, those who report bloating, cramps before OP will benefit and think they flushed something out with OP,
but really its realignment.
Gut flora isn't all about oxygen, IMPORTANT gut flora require acidic PH, some can live in oxygen, some can't, some don't mind it -- no pill can sort out the massive complex self evolving system of the intestines.
So, OxyPowder will just give an internal flush, OxyPowder whilst on a normal diet will do nothing, even if you take it on an EMPTY STOMACH whilst suggested, your body needs the ENTIRE small intestine and colon, it has a function.
OxyPowder FAQ is completely misleading:
"We recommend taking the product at night on an empty stomach so there won't be a large amount of undigested food. The nutrients in food are absorbed from the food itself very rapidly in the upper part of the duodenum, the left over food particles including the toxins are what is left and get liquefied or neutralized."
duodenum = start of small intestine
This is completely wrong! food is completely transformed by the mouth, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, bacteria, digestive juices, etc -- to think that such a SMALL piece of the digestive system (around 6/7 inches) can absorb everything that came out of the stomach, even if the stomach releases food there in stages, and the colon is some sort of "holding" area for "waste" is just completely false.
Another important quote from else where:
"An important function of both small intestine and colon is the absorption of water and electrolytes" electrolytes!
I think this is where OP's role in so called weight loss comes from, the flushing will push out alot of waste (as any bowel cleanse) and you may lose minerals and this will cause contraction in the cells (pinching) this will allow LESS water in your cells, less water = less weight, you have around 1 trillion cells, it all adds up.
The small intestine role is to absorb with fat, the colons to deal with what was process in the small intestine, draw out water, the duodenums role is to mix with bile+digestive juices, and keep certain PHs.
What role has OxyPowder really got? its great for flushing the intestines after an LF, where its use is limited, its better than ES in this regard because it STOPS your long term food absorption, but during an LF, you have eaten very little anyway, ES would draw the minerals out to flush.
