I would read the dosage chart and find out how much to take just like the animal . For example; one dose per body weight.
You might have to wait 3 months to take it again.
I know Darish sweden got rid of his flukes using Fasinex.
You will have to retrieve his protocol.
But I think he only took 1 tablespoon and waited 3 months and took it again.
Everyone is different, 4 days may be too much.
Read the directions first.

Today, many Dr.s are returning to animal meds and the cure rate is higher.

There are many articles on medscape using ivomec injections and then proceed with human albendazole with higher cure rates because the meds are not absorbing like they should.

While some animal meds contain other, harmful ingredients, those that only contain the chemical itself are just as pure as human meds, in fact, they are made by the same companies. Many people on this forum have taken animal meds without any harm. I know you are in the business of selling meds, but that does not give you the right to come on here and say we should not be able to save money and time by using the animal meds.

RXGURU..re-read Hernes old post..she got herself well on vet meds and humans meds.
And she said not to be afraid of the vet meds.
Most people do take precautions on all drugs whether it be vet or human.

Sorry for the lateness of my reply but I've been away from the computer for a while.
Thank you all for your input and info, its great that you can call upon everyone here for a bit of help! And I also appreciate your opinion Rx-guru as it makes me go and do a bit of further study to make sure its safe. Here are a few studies I found in which fasinex was used:

So now your all wondering, did he take it? Yep, I sure did, about half an hour ago, and now I'm heading to the fridge for some icecream and cream (plenty of fat for better adsorption, maybe I'm really a goat anyway with the amount I eat!)

After all the studies I read, a 10mg/kg triclabendazole dosage was the verdict (although a few studies went as high as 20mg/kg). Then I compared it to the dosage recommendations on the bottle itself (2.5mL/50kg) and after some number crunching it came back at 12mg/kg, not too far off. So I ended up taking 4mL. Now here is where I want to put a WARNING to people out there who are considering any kind of medicine, please READ the labels/concentration and do the number crunching!!! It will save you from that embarrassing moment at the emergency room while you have a sheepish look on your face (pun intended) and the doctor asks, "what did you take?" and you have to mumble back "fasinex....", because we all know what the medical establishment thinks of us looking after ourselves. The reason I give this WARNING is because there are some posts here that recommend taking a whole tablespoon of fasinex. Now I'm not having a go at these people at all, becasue there are different concentration versions of fasinex, mine being 240g/L and with a tablespoon (15mL), I would have sufficiently dosed a 251-300kg cow! So please make sure you read everything and do the numbers!

Now, to the next part of my story.
Curiosity got the better of me and I just called the poisons information hotline to have a little talk. "Hi, I was drenching some cattle and ive accidently swallowed 5-6mL of fasinex, will I turn into a goat/sheep/cow/should i go to the doc?", "How'd you get that in your mouth?" "......ummmmmm, the cow spat it back at me......", "oh ok blah blah blah"! She bought it and here's what I found out. I was told that the drench was quite safe and that it was virtually impossible to poison yourself if you have a gutfull of the stuff (although I wouldn't advise on drinking the bottle, thats asking for trouble) and that id be fine, just to eat a bit of food to help move it along, mmm icecream. She also did mention something about it not being able to cross the gut to get into the bloodstream, but i'll have to do a bit more reading to figure out whats going on there.

Anyway, that's enough dribbling from me, hope this helps someone out, i'll be sure to keep you all updated on my progress/when I grow a tail!
