you dont do too bad yourself there, mike.
everybody has an angle. i have one, its called the truth. being human, i am sure it is colored by my own unique experiences, likes, dislikes, etc. still, it is the truth as i know it to be. i include within that the caveat that i could be wrong. folks can think i am wrong all day long but that doesnt change a thing. show me HOW i am wrong and i will change like a chameleon. its really that simple. that is my integrity. i am also very slow to anger or judge.
i do believe in obeying nature. however, i am a pragmatist. i believe in what works, not what should work in a perfect world. the world(our environment) is way too screwed up for that. a person who has nothing else to do but fast and learn herbs should certainly avail themselves of that opportunity. most people dont, cant, wont, or would rather die than give up their lifestyle or diet. they will eventually get what they wish for.
there are simply some things you cant get around. Iodide
is food. starving for it wont make anything work better.
as an addendum regarding barefoots opinion of iodine, i see his point. he only dealt with lugols. Lugols
IS a chemical solution and not food. but as we all know on this forum, it can be quite useful. barefoot chose to throw out the baby with the bath water. so be it. i choose not to be that way and have learned a lot from him, as could anyone with some patience to wade through that monster forum. up until the Iodine
forum started i had read everything he ever wrote. so, as with iodine, people better bring something mighty special to be able to tell me something new about MH or iodine.
